Go where no man has gone before whether you are working, hunting, fishing or looking for gold. Argo and Escargo tracks will get you there and back with ease. Keep your feet dry, go easy on your winch, be the king of the forest with argo and Escargo tracks. There is no challenge.
Escargo is a unique pattented track. Compare to other tracks that are entirely made of rubber, are flat and have tire guides, Escargo tracks have two seperate belts so the mud, slush or clay can flow through between the belts to keep it light and clean. Escargo tracks have steel crossers that fit the contour of the tires for better guide control. On hard ground, Escargo tracks ride on the steel and the belts are off the ground. Both ends of the steel crossers are rounded off for better skid steer.
If ever, for some reason, one of the belt on the track tears or is damaged, it can be easily repaired by overlapping a strip of belt and bolting it over four steel crossers from the inside of the tracks.
Before installing the Escargo tracks, the argo must have a 2½" spacer kit which can be bought at any argo dealer. To install the Escargo tracks, remove some air in the back and front tires, slide the track over the wheels and roll it over the front wheel just like putting a belt on a pulley. When the tracks are installed, put some air back in the front and back tires. The front tires should have 7 lbs of air while the back tires should have 6 lbs. In the winter, more air should be added because of the cold temperature.
To remove the Escargo track, remove some air in the back and front tires, then remove one front or back wheel to take of the track. When the track is removed, add some air in the front and back tires.
Escargo is the only track that propels on water.
Its unique design with the hollow spaces between the belts and paddle like steel crossers
works good on water. The speed of the argo with the
Escargo tracks is 3 to 4 miles per hour in the water.
When riding on water we recommend operating with caution. Make sure not to overload the argo.
Instead of having a hinge, the belts of the Escargo tracks are overlapped along two steel crossers, making them very strong.
For winter, in thick powder snow, you can add on a winter snow kit which is an extra strip of rubber belts held on by aluminium angle crossers for extra paddle traction and extreme flotation on snow. Before installing the Escargo tracks (summer tracks or winter kit), the argo must have a 2½" spacer kit which can be bought at any argo dealer.
New videos of the winter tracks will be available next year.
The Escargo tracks are well designed to ride on fine sand and can easily climb steep sandy hills. If the sand is extremely fine, like in a desert, the Escargo track winter kit might be needed.
The Escargo tracks are so well made and durable that they can easily climb rocky hills.
The Escargo tracks works so well in mud that it can pull huge boats like a 24' pontoon.

For the new Avenger 8X8, the 25" X 12" tires must be replaced with tires from the Frontier which are 24" X 10" or tires from the Conquest which are 22" X 10".
The Escargo tracks can be installed on the Vanguard 6X6 Argo but it is recommended to have an axel beiring extension.
The Escargo tracks can also be installed on the Respond 8X8 Argo that has a rear axel beiring extension.
The costumer can choose the width of the outside belt from 5" to 8" wide.
